The Cultural Legacy of Me!

In the book Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell he talks about how there are cultural legacies. A cultural legacy is the importance of a persons reputation in a location. For example he uses the Howard-Turner family rivalry to portray cultural legacy. These two families were homes around the Appalachian mountains. These two families hated each other, generations after generations. Due to my communication patterns and habits I've been a different person then say, my brother has. We both grew up in the same place and same standards, but he has been more successful due to his communications with parents and other powerful people. I am limited to my teachers and occasionally my parents, to gain the most from my childhood I must increase my connections and lower my mitigated speech.
My cultural legacy would be to turn from something average to something successful and happy. To learn more about Malcolm Gladwell click the link below.
